At the recent Internet World show in London we were cooking up a storm with Appbaker, our self-service platform for building and deploying ‘’tasty’ native iPhone Apps without typing a line of code.
Our stand was one of the busiest (and hottest!) at the show, with hundreds of visitors getting a sneak preview of how simple it is to build unique iPhone apps. Feedback was phenomenal – so we’re rising!
What is Appbaker?
Appbaker is our powerful Web-based platform for building and managing native, custom-branded iPhone and iPod touch apps. You can build apps in less than an hour – no technical skills or iPhone Developer account required. And here at Appbaker we take care of publishing your apps to Apple’s App Store.
Why App ‘baker’?
Simple. Appbaker provides the ingredients to make mouthwatering apps. As a user all you need to worry about is what you want to bake, and leave the rest to us. Sweet, eh?
Who is Appbaker aimed at?
We are targeting Appbaker at two types of users:
- organisations who want to put their website content and applications onto the iPhone.
- web marketing and design agencies who want a fast, easy and cost-effective way of achieving this for their own clients. (And we’re looking for Affiliation Partners, so get in touch!).
What features does Appbaker have?
Appbaker features that we built in include: fully customizable artwork and branding, custom content, XML data binding, RSS feeds, Twitter, Flickr photo albums, YouTube videos and an abundance of native iPhone features, such as the use of geo location services, push notifications, etc.
I want Appbaker now!
Hold on – the best cakes take time to bake! We’re currently in the pre-launch testing phase, but we’re inviting potential users to register their interest prior to the official launch at the beginning of June 2010. So why not join us?
